Have been boating the past 18+ years.
Have one son and one daughter.
SYC is truly a pleasurable experience. The camaraderie among the members and peaceful environment encourage the feeling that this club is "a home away from home".

Brenda and I recently retired to Saugatuck. We have two adult children.
I have been boating my entire life mostly in Michigan and Wisconsin. Hobbies include all things boating and visiting my six grandchildren in Wisconsin and California. We both love spending time at SYC and participating in club events.

I grew up in Saugatuck sailing and power boating on the Kalamazoo from a very young age. My wife and I own and operate a manufacturing business located in Douglas. We love many things about being members at Singapore. A few of our favorites are the sense of community, and sharing in the tradition of boating with our children and others.
Member since 2010
We have been power boating for 20 years.
My wife Gina and I have 4 adult daughters, 3 son-in-laws, and 5 grand children.
Our family has enjoyed our summers at Singapore Yacht Club and all it’s members.
Member since 2012.
Denise and I have been enjoying the water together for over 16 years. Both our son and daughter have been on the boat with us since they were born. We look forward to more wonderful memories over the years and continue cruising.
Board of Directors
My husband Mike and I joined
SYC in 1992. He became Commodore in 2002, while I served as Auxiliary President in 2000 and 2001. When he passed away in 2014, I found myself asking "where was I the happiest?", and knew immediately it was the time I spent as a Singapore Yacht Club member, so I rejoined, bought a boat and reconnected with my "SYC family". It is an honor to be a member of the Board working with amazing club members, in this new chapter of my life.
SYC Member since 2018.
My husband Andy and I have lived in the Saugatuck & Holland area for over 25 years, and feel grateful to be part of the SYC family! We have two daughters - Zoie and Haley - who currently are finishing up degrees at GVSU.
Through the last two years, we have made great friendships, participated in awesome SYC events and created some wonderful memories!

When we are in Saugatuck @ SYC "we are home." So thankful for the many friendships, camaraderie and fun times with all the members; past and present.

While starting our boating life in 1999, my wife Marianne and I discovered Saugatuck and have never left. I am excited to be part of such a diverse group of members that we have in the Singapore Yacht Club and look forward to another great summer.
We have seven grandsons and one granddaughter.
SYC Member since 2018
I have been boating in Saugatuck for over 20 years. My husband Tim and I live in the City of Saugatuck, where I own a design firm and he works for Herman Miller.
We’ve both been active in the community within many organizations and really enjoy club membership for the sense of community if offers with a wonderful group of fellow boaters.
SYC Member since 2018.
I grew up boating in Northern Michigan and raced large sailboats extensively through and after college. My wife Heather and I stumbled upon Saugatuck a few years ago and decided to relocate to the area and are in process of building a home here. We truly enjoy SYC and feel very fortunate to have been accepted for club membership and welcomed by the greater Singapore community as a whole.
